There are more interesting factory tours!
Visiting factory tours are also to know Japanese culture in another aspect of sightseeing.

It takes 90 minutes tour and 20 people are max in each tour.
Tour has 2 times a day from 10am and 13:30pm to start.
You need to make a reservation before visiting.

Japanese style teapots

Nanbu tekki (Nanbu cast irons) is famous as good quality and traditional products especially in Iwate prefecture.
You can take Fe when you cook with cast iron pots, so it is good for health also.

Cast iron was used as defense products in the war, samurai period.
Feudal lord in this area were interested in industry and culture, so he invited the professional engineers all over Japan to create cannons, battle-gears, bells, and tea ceremony kettles. 8th generations of Feudal lord loved tea ceremony and spread out to Samurai and merchants in his land.
And one of the engineers made the shape of kettle like the picture on top. This style is much easier to use daily so spread out.

Jam Workshop
There is a circle kitchen as same as jar of jam. Here you can have experience for making jam! This is the most fun part!

Taking only tour is fee and it takes 1 hour and a half. Taking tour and making the jam cost 800yen and it takes 2 hours and a half.
